Situated on 128 acres in the beautiful White Mountains, near Franconia Notch State Park, Copper Cannon Camp provides a free week long summer camp experience to eligible New Hampshire youth. Applications for the summer of 2012 are now available on the website. Click on the "forms and applications" link for the best summer yet! Wonderful Volunteers! Franconia’s own Garnet Hill is planning its fourth annual clean-up day for Thursday May 17th. Again this year, there is a list of wonderful projects to improve the camping experience for the summer. It will be tough to beat last year’s cabin built by volunteers, but knowing Garnet Hill, they will do it! See Garnet Hill's 2010 clean-up! This will be followed the next day by a crew from the White Mountain School and then our annual New Hampshire Elks Clean-up on June 2nd. Not only do the Elks help recruit and transport youth to Copper Cannon, but they do a variety of projects. This year, the Lebanon Elks plan on building a storage building to house archery gear and sports equipment for meadow activities.

Franklin Savings Bank Supports Copper Cannon Camp On March 13th, the Franklin Savings Bank Foundation presented a $2,000 check to Copper Cannon Camp to help defray the costs for Franklin area youth to attend Copper Cannon. Dorothy Savery joined Executive Director Peter Christnacht, Franklin Elks Trustee Lisa Collins and a group of past campers at Franklin Middle School for the awarding of the grant.
Thanks to Garnet Hill...Copper Cannon Camp is grateful to Garnet Hill: a wonderful, community minded company who have been fantastic supporters of our programs, mission and, in turn, our campers. Each spring, Garnet Hill close their doors for a day and bring their entire staff up to Copper Cannon for the Annual Garnet Hill Volunteer Day.
