Copper Cannon wants YOU! Copper Cannon wants campers and camper families to step up and help out. As part of our outreach program, staff members meet up with campers all across the state to participate in volunteer events in their own communities. Each child attending Copper Cannon's summer camp program is receiving an RAK or Random Act of Kindness. Donors and members make camp possible and ask for nothing in return. We teach our campers the importance of selfless giving during their week at Copper Cannon and build upon that concept by volunteering with them in the fall and winter months. Events range from participating in the Nashua YMCA's Halloween Spook-tacular, to giving out drinks at the New England Ski Museum Nordic Ski Marathon. By volunteering, we help out other non-profit organizations and individuals in need. Volunteering with Copper Cannon is a great way of staying connected with camp all year round, have fun and get involved in your community. Do you know of any projects that could use Copper Cannon's help? - What organizations are you a part of that are looking for extra help?
- What needs to be cleaned up, fixed up or picked up in your neighborhood?
